10th October, 2020

It is not the bruises on the body that hurt. It is the wounds of the heart that leave scars on the mind. Mental illness is the only disease that can make one deny its own existence. Certainly, the idea that the brain can deny it's own illness is a frightening thought.

Rotaract Club of BIT Mesra is going to organize "One step. One change", a panel discussion on 10th October on the occasion of Mental Health Day.

Avani prasad, founder of Spandan, mental health, and child sexual abuse activist and a certified life coach will be joining the discussion panel along with Shivam, author of 'How to unleash your true potential' and 'Finding the Magic in you', an emotional and intellectual life coach and an alumnus of BIT Mesra. The discussion will be focused on issues such as mental assault, abuse, and trauma. The event will also cover the current agitation and the solutions for how women can feel more secured will be conferred.
